Over the years, various efforts have been invested, including giving the body a new coat of Calypso Coral paint and performing a comprehensive rebuild on the 302ci V8 engine, the four-speed manual transmission, and the Traction-Lok rear differential.

Braking duties are managed by power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. In preparation for the sale, the parking brake assembly has been adjusted.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Interior appointments include manual crank windows, a Hurst shifter, an AM radio, and a heater.

The steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a hood-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, temperature, fuel level, and amperage. An aftermarket auxiliary gauge pod has been installed in front of the shifter. The five-digit odometer shows 83k miles, approximately 5k of which were added under current ownership.

The 302ci V8 was rebuilt in 2006 utilizing a replacement block and an aftermarket camshaft. Work completed at that time also included reconditioning the connecting rods, balancing the rotating assembly, and installing replacement valve seats. A Mallory electronic ignition has been installed. The carburetor was rebuilt and an oil change was performed in August 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential with 3.70:1 gearing.
