Witness the Rescue of a 1963 Chevrolet Impala That Had Been Sitting Idle for Almost Four Decades

1963 Impala Rescue

Once back at the shop, he takes a look at another car which appears to be a 1959 Oldsmobile. He goes over what he plans to keep from the car for parts for his own use before sending the car away. He wants to keep the window tracks and regulator from the car, before explaining how to disassemble the door and remove the glass on a car like this. He also will keep the window trim and the rear window glass, a part that is often hard to find that he can use in the future.

He loads up a 1960 OIdsmobile 88 and a 1959 Pontiac, each of which is in rough shape body-wise, and headed to Nebraska as parts donor cars. He also talks about a 1952 Oldsmobile that he sold as a parts car and another Impala sitting on the property that is missing much of the bottom components of the vehicle, which will get used for the remaining parts.

The other cars he’s currently working on are a 1965 Impala with a 327, a 1962 that will get a 230 inline 6 engine swap, a sold 1959, and a 1961 which is still available and has received a lot of attention but no buyer yet. He also has two classic Pontiacs that will be leaving soon. He’s heading to Nebraska in the near future to get more cars, which will get shown in future videos
