Perhaps it’s not unusual for us to see hungry stray dogs searching through the trash for food, so it’s wonderful that customers at a restaurant in Peru give leftovers to these stray animals!
Five years ago, a stray dog in Ajilalo decided to deliberately stop in front of Gerardo Ortiz’s eatery to show that he was famished.
Some people are often annoyed with homeless dogs, but Gerardo is not. He decided to give her a free, excellent meal that he had made just for her out of pure love. Every day after that, the [famished] dog received a free dinner at Gerardo’s restaurant.

The human patrons of this restaurant are likewise overjoyed at the kind gestures of their beloved restaurant proprietors. They feel moved by his deeds and bring food to all the visiting homeless pets.
Fortunately, our clients have responded favorably to dogs. They show them affection.” Gerardo is happy when his customers not only don’t despise him but actively work to assist the stray canines.
Sometimes a little compassion is all it takes to make someone’s life incredibly happy!
