This poor Camaro has been lying in the field for 25 years in a state of decay with its wrinkled and ruined body

This poor Camaro has been sitting in a field for 25 years. The floors are rotted. The body is crinkled. The engine is seized. And the previous owner is still looking for the title. Hmm, this is starting to sound like a pipe dream to me. There must be a few people who want it though as evidenced by the bidding here on eBay where the auction ends soon. Thanks goes to Patrick S for the tip!

Here’s a shot of the interior. Well, what’s left of it. The floors are rusted through, but that’s the least of your concerns. Everything has been exposed to the elements so plan on lots of pitting and corrosion. I’d say this could be used as a parts car, but I doubt there’s much here that wouldn’t need to be restored before being installed.

The seller mentions that the engine won’t turn over and I assume that means it’s seized up. I don’t see any evidence of them hooking up a battery and seeing it it really “turns over”. A V8 would be more exciting than an inline-six, but I suppose it wouldn’t be a big deal to transplant something else in there while you are refurbishing every single surface.

This just keeps getting better! The body looks like it’s been in a wreck or maybe it’s so badly rusted that the whole car has twisted? The seller does mention that “the body shifted” when they moved it… Wait a minute. None of that really matters if you buy a Dynacorn reproduction body! It’s hard to believe that a VIN tag and title could be worth more than a grand, but I’m guessing that’s what people are planning. What do you think? Is there a future for this field find?
