Crenshaw was only a little kitten when she found herself all alone in the world.

The tiny kitten was sitting all alone on a sidewalk in a rough neighbourhood, right next to a busy road, when she was discovered by two pedestrians. Crenshaw was incredibly tiny and was meowing out for her mother. The two women stopped and looked around for the mama cat or any other kittens, but the little Sᴛʀᴀʏ was all alone. The women were worried about the little ᴏʀᴘʜᴀɴ and were not sure what to do.

Luckily, at that moment, a woman named Sharra Platt happened to drive by. Platt was driving home from work when she noticed the small kitty on the sidewalk and the two anxiơus women. She pulled over and asked them what was going on, and the women told her that the kitten was all alone. Platt, who is no stranger to ʀᴇsᴄᴜɪɴɢ animals in need, quickly decided to assume responsibility of the Sᴛʀᴀʏ. She brought the kitten back home with her, with the intention of handing her over to a ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ organisation in the morning.

However, the next day, Platt began to think that perhaps the little kitten should stay with her, and become part of her family. After carefully introducing the kitten to her ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ dogs, she noticed how much they seemed to likе the little cat and she knew that they would be very happy to get a little baby sister. Platt took the kitten to the ᴠᴇᴛ who determined her to be of good health, and Platt decided to make the kitten part of her family.

She named the kitty Crenshaw, after the name of the street the kitten was found on, and carefully let her get used to her new canine siblings. Both Platt’s Pit Bull Roxy and her Pomeranian Kasey were immediately smitten by the little cat. Especially Roxy, who quickly assumed a motherly role. The eight-year-old ʀᴇsᴄᴜᴇ pup washed and cuddled little Crenshaw and did everything she could to keep her safe and happy.
